Best and Healthiest Chef Salad

Learn to Make Healthiest Chef Salad

Chef Salad

Chef Salad
Ingredients:

  • Chicken breast
  • Lettuce of choice
  • Tomato
  • Canola or vegetable oil.
  • Wheat flour
  • Spices of choice/pepper and salt.
  • Dressing of choice, whether it's Italian, ranch or other.

Really Easy to Make:

Heat a flat pan and pour oil in it and as it heats up, take the chicken breast and slice it in half and you could also pound the chicken a little bit if it's too thick.
Get the sliced chicken breasts and coat them with wheat flour then put them in the oiled pan. Some people choose to use eggs as a binder but personally, I don't think it's necessary unless you coat the chicken breasts with too much flour.

Let the chicken crisp on one side and then flip it and do the same for the other side. The chicken should be done after its crispy brown on both sides and if you're not sure you could use a thermometer to check it and make sure it's over 165°F. For any flat piece of meat always temp sideways.

When that's done, get your lettuce ready and slice a tomato in wedges and put however much you prefer on your plate, then take your crispy chicken and nicely place them on top, and all you have left is to drizzle your dressing of choice on top.
First of all the reason I love this salad and think its probably the most healthy you could go is there's no cheese or boiled eggs added and if you want to even go further, you could make your own salad dressing with a little olive oil mixed with lemon juice, and there you have it.
Enjoy.

This last section is just my personal opinion on foods in regards to our health. Am not an expert but I like to learn about food because we live it every day and plays a major role in how long and healthy we live.

Almost every food out there in some version is good for us in moderation but we all know vegetables and fruits are what we can eat in excess and have even better results but that's not easy, vegetables are the least favorite for a majority of people.

On the other hand what we love most is probably the least healthy foods out there like red meat, plenty of carbs from pastries or butter that's so hard to resist. If you asked me, I would put butter in everything I cook if I could but it's very unhealthy especially for our heart health just like the fat in red meats or other fats that solidify in room temperature, they're a nightmare to anyone's arteries as they can solidify and block arteries and possibly lead to a heart attack.

What you could do to live better is substitute those fats with unsaturated fats and my favorite is canola oil but that's only for cooking because there's no easy way to substitute butter especially if you're eating toast or rolls.

Now in this sense what do you do, on the hand we can't live without sausage and eggs or hamburgers and other red meat good stuff we can't resist. My best possible thought for that is just eat it but in moderation.

Its not good for you but isn't entirely just bad, there's still some good in it and again in moderation, you need protein, B vitamins, iron and also not forget that the brain needs fat to be healthy and triglycerides which is fat in blood is important for a strong immune system and that I don't mean having more than the healthy amount.

There's probably not a better diet for the brain and heart than salmon, tuna, sardines or fish rich in omega 3 oils. It's recommended at least 2 servings a week to help prevent blockage in blood vessels and this diet is absolutely crucial to have the needed good cholesterol in the blood.

Would I say that eating more seafood rich in omega 3 oils is better than red meats, oh yeah that's a no-brainer, but you also don't want to eat it in excess either as too much omega 3 oils could cause bleeding problems and even a weaker immune system.

Food and health can be complex to get everything the body needs and avoid an excess of what could be bad but at least the one thing almost everyone agrees is you can never have too many vegetables!!

Lions Are Much Like on Steroids!

If you're looking to gain massive biceps or triceps, look no further than the life of a lion.
Lions generally take down twice as large prey if not larger and no other land predators can take down as massive an animal as a giraffe and even rarely documented cases of adult elephants killed by lions.
On top of being overly ambitious, it does also come down to the impressively toned muscle lions have.

You might agree with me that there's no possible way if you put yourself in a predator's shoe, take down something weighing twice or four times your weight if you got flimsy muscle mass, its impossible.

If you look all over, almost everyone thinks that because the tiger is the largest cat then, therefore, they have the biggest muscles but I personally disagree because just like people you can't say that a 250lbs guy necessary has more muscle than a 200lbs guy, the smaller guy could be more ripped with more muscle mass than the bigger guy. Tigers are awesome but as far as all the images I have seen, their muscles, unfortunately, aren't as ripped as most images I have seen for lions.

Most people love cats but if you want to capture some fire within you and you're looking to watch something intense, maybe dangerous and mysterious, then you know for sure that the complex life of lions is it, it's like a scripted movie and no other cat in the wild offers that.

It's so Cold in Washington State that Deers Visit A Vet Clinic!

In a small town in eastern Washington state, a couple of deers went back and forth surrounding a small vet clinic!

They appeared puffed up most likely from their furry bodies trying to fight back the negative degree temperatures but what's even more bizarre is the fact that they stayed for a while next to a vet clinic.
They must be a smart couple of deers to know that if they did freeze their behinds then there's no better place than right next to a vet doctor.
Way to go deers!

Bibi the Oldest Lioness in the Mara, Killed by Cattle Ranchers!

One of my favorite lionesses as I followed her story in the big cat diary.
Just short of her 18th birthday, she was poisoned to death and it's absolutely heartbreaking.
Will post the link below of where to read more about the precious Bibi, that survived some of the toughest tribulations and amazingly ended up living as long as she did but unfortunately her fate was never due to the rough Mara wild she roamed, but rather the insatiable human greed that will eventually lead to barren lands with little or no wild animals!

Relax the Brain

Relax the Brain

How about a day to not think at all, they should have a day dedicated just for that and be called something like a no thinking day.

Humanity is just thinking too much and the stress levels have skyrocketed.
There's got to be a solution somewhere, just not sure where and how.
